Academics Curriculum

Brooklyn is affiliated with the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination (ICSE). With  the help of guidelines prescribed by CISCE, our faculty members prepare the curriculum for the Kindergarten, Primary and Middle Schools. This is reinforced by an autonomous Syllabus in Science and Mathematics prepared by a panel of experts and teachers of the various Brooklyn National Public Schools. The Senior Secondary Section strictly adheres to the curriculum prescribed by the CISCE.

Educators at all grade levels and in every subject take inspiration from the students’ inherent  curiosity and then base their teaching modules on collective inquiry, reflection, and discovery. As our students learn to work both synergistically and independently, they are provided the necessary knowledge, tools, and skills to excel.

Our school is also committed to making our students more environmentally and socially aware. In addition to our regular academic curriculum, we have an enrichment program which helps our students better connect to the world around them and make them cognisant of issues impacting the environment they all depend on, as well as the actions they can take to improve and sustain it.

The Junior School - Nursery, LKG & UKG

Kindergarten lays the foundation for a child’s schooling life. Our Junior School is a dynamic environment in which we see significant developments in a child’s physical, emotional and intellectual growth from Kindergarten through LKG and UKG leading to the graduation at the completion of Year 6. The Pre Primary Curriculum is based on subjects such as English, Math and Environmental Science in addition to arts & crafts, dance, music, yoga and sports. Stress is on providing more hands-on experience to make concepts clear. Fostering interpersonal skills is also a key element of the learning environment.
